Chipotle Honey Glazed Salmon

Oven-baked salmon fillets brushed with a smoky-sweet chipotle in adobo and honey glaze, finished with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime.

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillet
- 2 tbsp chipotle in adobo, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges

Method

Prep the baking sheet — Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with foil.

Make the chipotle glaze — In a small bowl, whisk together the chopped chipotle in adobo, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt and black pepper to make the glaze.

Brush the salmon — Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with the chipotle-honey glaze on all sides.

Bake until flaky — Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized at the edges.
- 5.
Garnish and serve — Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh cilantro and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
