Classic Lemonade

Bright, puckery fresh-squeezed lemon juice balanced with a light sugar syrup and served ice-cold. Summer in a glass.

Ingredients
- 200 g white sugar
- 2 dl water, for the syrup
- 2½ dl lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 l water, cold
- 1 lemon, sliced, to garnish
- 10 ice cube
Method

Make the simple syrup — Combine the sugar and 200 ml water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring, and simmer for 5 minutes until the sugar fully dissolves into a syrup. Cool.

Combine the lemonade — In a large pitcher, combine the cooled syrup, lemon juice, and the 1 liter of cold water.
- 3.
Adjust and chill — Stir well, taste and adjust with more syrup or water as needed, then chill for at least 30 minutes.

Serve over ice — Serve over ice cubes in glasses, garnished with lemon slices.
