French Onion Soup
Caramelize the onions

- butter50 g
- olive oil2 tbsp
- white sugar1 tsp
Melt the butter with the oil in a heavy pot. Add the onions and sugar and cook over medium-low heat for 40 minutes, stirring often, until deeply caramelised.
