Honey Garlic Shrimp

Juicy shrimp glazed in a sticky honey-garlic sauce with a whisper of sriracha heat. On the table in fifteen minutes over fluffy rice.

Ingredients
- 600 g shrimp, peeled
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 6 garlic, minced
- 15 g fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 3 spring onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 300 g white rice, to serve

Method

Mix the honey garlic sauce — Whisk the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha together and set aside.

Stir-fry the shrimp — Stir-fry the shrimp in the oil over high heat for 3 minutes until pink and just cooked. Remove and set aside.

Fry the garlic and ginger — Fry the garlic and ginger in the same pan for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
- 4.
Glaze and serve — Pour in the sauce and simmer for 2 minutes until glossy, then return the shrimp and toss to coat. Drizzle with sesame oil and scatter with spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice.
