Honey Mustard Glazed Ham

A whole ham warmed through then lacquered in a sweet-sharp honey mustard glaze spiced with clove and cinnamon. The festive table showstopper.

Ingredients
- 2 kg ham
- 4 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- black pepper to taste

Method

Score the ham fat — Heat the oven to 160°C. Score the ham fat in a diamond pattern and sit it in a roasting tin.

Bake the ham covered — Cover loosely with foil and bake for 60 minutes to warm through.
- 3.
Make the honey mustard glaze — Whisk the honey, mustard, sugar, vinegar, cloves, cinnamon, and pepper into a glaze.

Glaze and roast the ham — Remove the foil, brush thickly with glaze, and roast uncovered at 200°C for 30 minutes, glazing twice, until sticky and burnished. Rest, then carve.
