Step 1 of 4Make the cake batter

  • wheat flour180 g
  • baking powder2 tsp
  • egg5
  • white sugar200 g
  • vanilla extract1 tsp
  • milk3 dl
  • salt1 pinch

Heat the oven to 175C. Whisk the egg yolks with most of the sugar until pale, then stir in the milk and vanilla. Fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt.
