Features

Everything Cook and Scale does to make cooking easier — recipes that scale to your servings, a catalogue you can search and browse, tools to cook from what you have, menus for your goals, a recipe book to save it all in, a hands-free cooking mode, and shopping lists built from your recipes.

Scale any recipe to your servings

This is the heart of Cook and Scale. Choose how many servings you need and every ingredient amount recalculates instantly, in units a real cook would use. Switch between metric and imperial, or scale to a specific amount of one ingredient — no fractions, no mental arithmetic.

Find something to cook

Browse hundreds of recipes with a clean, image-rich grid, or search and filter by cuisine, meal, diet, ingredient, equipment, and time. Sort by what's popular and open anything to start cooking in a tap.

Explore by cuisine

Dive into a whole cuisine at once — every Italian, French, or Thai recipe in one place, each one scalable to your servings with clear step-by-step instructions. Curated landing pages make it easy to find your next favourite dish.

Eat for your training

Pick a goal and intensity and Cook and Scale shows the calorie and protein targets to build your week around, then serves protein-dense recipes with scalable servings. Filter by diet and exclude allergens to match how you eat.

Cook from what you already have

Tell Cook and Scale what's in your pantry and see what you can make right now — plus dishes that are just one ingredient away. It's an easy way to use up what's on hand and cut down on trips to the shop.

Cook in your language

Browse, scale, and cook in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese — with fully localised pages and web addresses. There's nothing to install and no signup required to start.

Keep every recipe in one book

Save any recipe to your recipe book with a single tap, and keep it alongside your own written recipes in one place. Organise everything into collections and open your book from any device — your drafts stay private until you choose to publish them.

Cook hands-free, one step at a time

Cooking mode walks you through a recipe step by step in a distraction-free, full-screen view, with quantities already scaled to your servings. Start built-in timers right from the step you're on, pull up the ingredients whenever you need them, and the screen stays awake so you're never wiping your hands to tap it back on.

Turn recipes into a shopping list

Add one or more recipes — or a whole meal plan — and get a single combined shopping list, with duplicate ingredients merged and amounts added up for you. Items are grouped by aisle so shopping is quick, you can tick things off as you go, and you can share or print the list whenever you need it.
